God of War: Ghost of Sparta Announced For PSP!
| Reads: 12 |
Hi all,
I’ve got some really exciting news to share with you around a certain Spartan warrior which we all know and love…
Fresh from his incredible exploits in the recent God of War III, I can reveal that the mighty Kratos is heading to the PSP and PSPgo in God of War: Ghost of Sparta!
It’s been a while since we last saw him on the PSP, where the original God of War: Chains of Olympus conquered all before with stunning visuals, gameplay and of course a game which you all loved playing. So what can you expect this time?
First of all it’s developed by the studio which brought the original PSP game, so the guys at Ready At Dawn Studios are well aware of what it takes to deliver another amazing title to the franchise. (lucky enough to play early code and all I can say it’s looking and playing incredibly well even at this very early stage:)
Graphically the guys are pushing the PSP to the limits with state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher quality environments and greater depth of scale which really help deliver on those huge crazy boss fights. Alongside this expect an improved weapon system, new magical powers, the list goes on…just think bigger and better!

SOCOM 4 Debriefing
| Reads: 26 |
SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs Debriefing
We've got vital intel on the upcoming tactical shooter.
US, April 30, 2010 - When Slant Six shipped SOCOM Confrontation in 2008, fans snatched up the shooter and jumped on the PlayStation Network to try out their scopes in an online-only affair. Now, about two years later, Zipper Interactive is back behind the wheel of the franchise it started and is working on SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs -- a title that packs the multiplayer you'd expect, along with a single-player campaign that's designed to draw you in and keep you hooked.
Today, Sony and Zipper are dishing out the dirt on Ops Com (AKA Cullen Gray), the SEALs leader you'll be playing as in SOCOM 4. Rather than just post a bio on the guy -- he's the son of a naval analyst and a civilian geologist -- we grabbed SOCOM Creative Director Ed Byrne, sat him down at an undisclosed location, and went to work on finding out who this "Ops Com" is and why folks should be excited for SOCOM 4 single-player.
Suit up and read on, SEAL.

COD Black Ops first Trailer
| Reads: 12 |
| MikeyS1711 writes "
The debut trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops will leave you with many questions.
In a typical Call of Duty fashion, the debut trailer doesn’t reveal too much. However, there are some interesting moments that might raise an eyebrow.
Did you catch all of that? The trailer reveals scientists, a laboratory, lots of explosions, aircrafts, and … an astronaut suit? That’s interesting. Perhaps that’s just the suit a SR-71 Blackbird pilot has to wear. Either way, it looks like this won’t be a typical Call of Duty. It also seems like flashbacks will play a major role in the story. We’ll have to wait and see if that’s true though.
Call of Duty: Black Ops hits store shelves on November 9th and is developed by Treyarch. Expect more news to be released sometime soon. "
